Homemade cottage cheese lovers probably have a lot of whey. If the production of fermented dairy products is not your strong point, today this very modern healthy product can be purchased ready-made or even quickly frozen from good kefir. Then activate a lush cosmetic fantasy and start rejuvenating yourself, taking the following recipes as a starting point.
The serum itself is a real cosmetic storehouse of all kinds of nutrients that tones, nourishes and heals all skin types. In addition to lactic acid, there are a lot of trace elements, beauty vitamins A and C and the famous group of vitamins B. The serum also contains choline, which regulates the activity of sebaceous glands and is responsible for our young and flowering type of niacin.
Most often, whey remains after the preparation of homemade cottage cheese. If you are not a fan of such complex culinary temptations, try to get this miraculous elixir of good fresh kefir. To do this, place a packet of kefir in the freezer, in the quick-freeze section. Wait until the kefir has hardened completely, place it on a sieve lined with several layers of gauze and allow the whey to drain.
Do not forget to smell the finished product and try it gently. The serum should be refreshing and pleasantly sour. It should not rot and sting its tongue.
If the serum is successful, then go ahead, to great cosmetic achievements, armed with imagination and means with UV filters, as no one has revoked the sun protection, even with acid care.
Serum plus yolk - and wrinkles will definitely be good
- 1 egg yolk (if you do not like the yolk, replace it with aloe vera gel without alcohol in the composition),
- 2-3 teaspoons of whey milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon rosehip oil (natural sunflower, soybean, evening primrose oil)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon argan oil (or any other oil, including good oil).
Rub the yolk and oil vigorously and add a little whey.
Apply on damp skin (face, neck, décolleté, hands . . . ) for 20-30 minutes. Remove the residue with cotton swabs soaked in serum, wait another 5-10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
Rejuvenating course: after 2-3 days within a month. UV protection is mandatory.
Peeling with pea milk
Dilute the pea flour with the whey until it becomes a paste.
Pea flour can be replaced or mixed with chickpeas and / or oatmeal. If your skin needs more cleansing, add a little rye flour.
Apply to damp skin in a few steps, leaving each layer to dry slightly.
Lightly moisten your fingertips with the serum and roll the pea porridge along the massage lines.
Do this 1-2 times every 10-14 days, depending on the needs of your skin, and again do not forget about UV protection.
Emergency rejuvenation for special occasions
Mix a tablespoon of beaten egg whites with a teaspoon of whey and thicken the mask to a not very thick paste with a mixture of wheat and oatmeal.
Apply a thin layer on the skin (face, neck, arms, shoulders, décolleté . . . ), leave to dry, but without hardening with a crust, and rinse with lukewarm water.
Moisturize your skin with a light gel or other product. Do not use products that are too greasy and heavy, so as not to lose all the astringent effect.
The mask is considered very intense and is suitable as a one-time measure when you need to quickly rejuvenate and tighten the skin. It is recommended to do it no more than once every 10-14 days.
